Where Are We?
The last couple of weeks have been hell for me.
First I got the shock that my blog of 17 years was deleted.
At first, I thought it was the nudity on the blog so I started a new one without nudity
but within a couple days, warnings went up on it again.
What goes?
There are tools on Blogger that allow you to track down problems on your blog.
Turns out it was the RG links that were the cause.
I replaced all the RG links with FF ones, asked for a review, and within a day the warnings were removed.
But that doesn't work for the old blog which is gone and won't be back.
I have no access to it.
The next thing was people from the group bombarded me with alerts that my links were being blocked
or labeled as dangerous or having malicious content.
A helpful member of the group alerted me to the fact that Firefox and Google Chrome
were blocking all RG zip (and later rar) files.
Savvy experienced users knew they could bypass the warnings, but then some couldn't.
Then my posts started ending up in people's spam folders.
For all my users, 63% use Chrome and 26% use Firefox, 11% all other.
Not all Chrome or Firefox users were encountering the warnings
and some have suggested it may be related to the severity of their browser security settings.
Despite all the alarms, NO virus or malware was ever found in any of the files.
As I have said before, I am fairly obsessive with what I put out.
I cannot tolerate someone tarnishing my reputation with false claims.
While many are comfortable ignoring those warnings,
others may be dissuaded from downloading and enjoying my material.
For the next while, I will be using FF links exclusively.
Perhaps in a few weeks down the road we might test some RG links
to see if Google and Firefox have resolved their problems with RG.
Putting out both RG and FF links together now won't work
because the presence of the RG link will set off the alarms.
My thanks to the members who ran various tests for me.
Through their efforts we were finally able to nail down the problem.

I now just want to go back to spending my time tracking down quality content
and assembling my packages of treats.

Nudity Is Back On The Blog
It turns out nudity wasn't the reason the original blog was deleted, the Rapdigator links were the problem.
A few days after this new blog went online, a malicious content warning was placed on the new blog
despite there being no nudity in the new blog.
Blogger has tools to determine problems with blogs which indicated the links in the blog were problematic.
I converted what were then Rapidgator links to Filefactory ones and asked for a review of the blog.
Within a day, the message came back that the blog was now clean and the malicious content warning was removed.
The adult material warning continues of course.

Filefactory To Replace Rapidgator
For the next little while, at least, the blog will be using Filefactory as the file share service.
There is increasing evidence that the use of Rapidgaor may be causing the malicious content flags
that some users may be experiencing.
So the blog (and group) will be testing whether substituting Filefactory links
will get rid of those disturbing warnings.
I am well aware that many have premium memberships with RG
and many more have memberships at FF.
I feel your pain of the prospect of leaving RG
as I have thousands of files stored there which I will not now be able to use.
I cannot continue to have my posts and blog slapped with a label of malicious content
when my posts are the opposite of malicious.
Please bear with me while we test this alternative.

Original Black Onyx Blog DELETED
For the last seventeen years
(since 2008)
I have had my blog hosted here by Blogger, a Google company.
Today the blog was deleted by them.
Nothing in my posts has substantially changed in all those years.
Same photo sets, videos, goodies packs, etc.
The amount and nature of the nudity posted is just the same.
So something else has changed.
A substantial part of my heart and soul has been washed away, just like that.
I have been given no explanation other than a reference to Community Guidelines.
I can only assume that there is a problem with the nudity that was presented
although the guidelines state nudity is permitted
as long as the blog is covered by an adult content warning
which I placed on the blog at its creation.
So we are back with a replacement blog which will feature less public nudity.
Find the usual number of photos you are looking for within the zip file sets.
Here's to continuing our quest to present the most handsome men in the world.
